#1 - 100 made of the original, + lyric poster. Six copies made with special “Sex Pistols” sleeve. #2 - First US bootleg on blue (and orange?) vinyl, red cover with “Sex Drive” on front sleeve, 200 made. #3 - I heard rumours in the early 90s about a French guy who made very close reproductions and sold them as originals… beware! (I have never seen these, though, so this might be just a rumour). #4 - 2nd US bootleg has a yellow cover, no title on front, different back cover; black vinyl. Sound is better than that of the 1st one. 500 (?) made. #5 - CD bootleg circa 2001 with first three 7”s and first LP. #6 - A more recent (and very common) boot 7” on clear yellow vinyl.
The Necros' first release, and the first release on Touch & Go. Very early, very basic hardcore, simple and noisy. This does have a certain charm, and it's definitely made hardcore history, but music-wise this just doesn't hold up to early hardcore classics like Minor Threat, Fix or Negative Approach. [7]
4 frühe Tracks, sehr rudimentärer und einfacher HC, dem man aber einen gewissen kindlichen Charme nicht absprechen kann. Ganz lustige Platte, aber vierstellige Beträge sind hier absolut unangemessen.
Tracks: sex drive / police brutality // caste system / better never than late
