touch & go. 13918 (t&g07) / 10 tracks / 1982
D: 11 tracks / 1989 (bootleg)
#1 - First, rejected test pressing for this EP (10 made) has a different mix. John Brannon in Forced Exposure #4: “We got our test pressing back and they sounded like shit. They were all trebly and stuff. It sounded like it was a transistor”. #2 - Second test press (10 made) has the regular mix; I have seen one offered on ebay with a handmade sleeve put together by Chris Moore (drummer) and Marc Barie (T&G zine editor) - see picture. #3 - Regular first pressing (1000) with black lettering on labels. + lyric sheet and flyer. 25 copies have a hand colored sleeve; after some of these went for a lot of money on Ebay, more showed up - I suspect that some of the colored ones are fakes, it’s so easy to make your own handcolored version. #4 - Regular second pressing (2000 made) has red lettering on labels. #5 - German bootleg adds “Lost Cause” (from Process… comp. EP) at the end of side B. 500 made.
Their first release, and arguably the best hardcore record of 1982. Brutal, violent, powerful, wild and angry Neanderthal hardcore with one of the greatest singers that this scene had to offer. The blueprint for bands like SSD, DYS or Agnostic Front. An all-time classic. [9]
(TK)
