New Brutalism are from Chicago and sound like it - rhythmic post hardcore with a Shellac edge. HSD have more of an mathy hardcore approach without being screamy or brutal (like other bands on this label), so this is rather “post” as well. Good release but no real highlights. [6]

New Brutalism kommen aus Chicago und klingen auch so: rhythmischer Post-Hardcore mit Shellac-Einschlag. HSD haben einen stärkeren Mathrock-Touch, trotzdem noch recht kraftvoll und hardcorig. Ordentliche 7” ohne echte Highlights.
