#1 - Around 500-1000 made of the German bootleg (white sleeve with original cassette art). #2 - European pressing with different sleeve. #3 - ROIR CD has yellow sleeve with cassette art and two bonus tracks (“Machine” and “Loud Fast Rules” by the Stimulators).

A legendary 1982 ROIR tape comp., first bootlegged to vinyl, then rereleased legally on LP and CD. Classic punk rock and early hardcore from New York City (and AOD from New Jersey), mostly taken from the bands' 7”s plus the odd demo track. Just look at the lineup: Bad Brains, The Mad, Heart Attack, Kraut, Beastie Boys, AOD… excellent stuff; just get it. [8]  

Der ROIR-Tape-Klassiker auf Vinyl. 11 NY-Bands, die späten Punkrock bis frühen HC spielen; die meisten Tracks stammen von frühen und raren Singles, daher hat die Platte in punkto Songauswahl und Musik Ähnlichkeit mit den Killed by Death Samplern (es sind aber außerdem noch einige an­derweitig unveröffentlichte Tracks dabei). Hat wenig Sinn, einzelne Bands hervorzuheben, weil alle recht gut sind; wenig Ausfälle, lohnende Anschaffung.
