#1 - US press. CD version has a hidden track called “Endless, Nameless” at the end of the disc; this was not included on the first 1991 pressings because the mastering studio thought the disc was over after Something… #2 - Euro press. Special CD issue with a “liquid” gimmix cover (might also be a US pressing). #3 - Picture disc from Czech Republic; also a green vinyl LP, 1000 made. #4 - A second press from Czech Republic; 500 gold CDs, 300 platinum CDs. Two movie tin can editions: first with CD, T-shirt, postcards, badge (500 made), second with gold CD and the other stuff (500 made). #5 - GUS (Russian) edition, no label, high gloss sleeve. 

Their major label debut which changed the music world forever; certainly the indie world, but it also opened up the mainstream to punk and hardcore, at least for a while. For many people this is the quintessence of grunge rock (cynics could add that this is the only grunge album worth listening to). Say what you will about major label releases, but this is just great music, incredible pop grunge with lots of originality and individuality. If you hold this next to the 600$ production of their previous LP, you will understand that an expensive studio doesn't always lead to slick, faceless pop crap. Even if you hate grunge you need to know this record. [9]  

Tja, sowas nennt man wohl den Durchbruch… diese Platte hat die Musikwelt verändert (im guten wie im schlechten), und den Mainstream für Punk und Hardcore geöffnet. Von der Musik her ist die Platte aber auch wirklich fantastisch, der gute alte Nirvana-Pop-HC-Grunge eben, aber noch vielseitiger und vielschichtiger als auf den anderen Platten. Ganz einfach gute Musik. Auch die Produktion kommt sehr gut, da merkt man halt, wo die Kohle hingeht. Vom Cover fange ich erst gar nicht an…
