Garage punk from South Dakota; the trashy production might fool you into thinking that this is just an amateurish three-chord punk band; if you listen closely, though, it's a diamond in the rough. Some of the tracks are indeed just simple punk, but there are also some great catchy pop punk tunes that sound like a garbage version of the Ramones' greatest hits, and then there's some songs with a very interesting Mission of Burma/post punk touch, but all in the frame of noisy punk/hardcore. Klingt zunächst mal nach dilettantischem Kellerpunk vom Land (die Band ist aus South Dakota), bei näherem Hinhören entpuppt sich die LP aber als kleines Juwel. Einige Songs sind tatsächlich etwas simpel, es gibt aber auch melodisch-poppige Songs, die nach einer Trash-Version der Ramones klingen, und schließlich auch einige Tracks mit einem sehr interessanten Mission of Burma/Postpunk-Touch, aber alles immer noch im Rahmen des krachig produzierten Punk. Toll.
