Second release by the band that back then was dismissed by many as DC’s version of Flipper. The influences are definitely there, but No Trend add more violence and anger, so the result has a lot more power and intensity. With “real” hardcore songs like “do as you’re told” and more experimental tracks like “happiness is”, there is also some variation. Classic. [8]

Auf der ersten LP der DC-Band wird deutlich, dass sie weit mehr sind als nur ein Flipper-Abklatsch; die Einflüsse sind zwar deutlich, aber No Trend bringen deutlich mehr intensiven Hass ins Spiel, wodurch die Musik viel kraftvoller wird. Auch die Bandbreite ist recht groß, von „echtem“ Hardcore bis zu experimentelleren, monotonen Soundcollagen.
