They've firmly established their trademark melodic/poppy hardcore now; and since they're on Epitaph there are some Bad Religion-style choruses and vocal harmonies. Still this is a NOFX record, of course, so it's more fun and less serious, and there is some diversity, too, with some unexpected breaks, ska elements etc. Good diverse music. [8]  

Immer noch der gute alte Melodycore a la Asexuals etc. Deutlich ist hier aber auch der Einfluß der Labelkollegen Bad Religion zu spüren, der mehrstimmige Gesang und manche plötzliche Breaks könnten auch von einer BR-LP stammen. Allerdings haben NOFX nicht so ein enges Konzept, man merkt, daß die Songs doch eher ’for fun’ sind. Einerseits wird dadurch das musikalische Spektrum etwas größer, weil man sich auch nicht scheut, mal ein paar Takte Ska zu spielen, andererseits ist die Musik nicht so dicht und ’ernsthaft’. Schön melodische HC-Platte, manchmal etwas simpel, was aber schon allein durch die tolle Brett-Gurewitz-Produktion wie­der gutgemacht wird. Gut.
