Debut LP by the Canadian band that manages to play highly complex and sophisticated music without ever sounding artsy or arrogant. Intricate, jazzy hardcore with hundreds of ideas in every song, the rhythm changes every few seconds, and everything is played with an almost scary precision. Still the music is powerful, original and catchy. A cult record. [9]

Erste LP der Kultband aus Kanada, die es fertigbringt, wirklich “kunstvolle” Musik zu machen, ohne jemals artsy, arrogant oder trocken zu wirken. In jedem Song sind unendlich viele kleine Ideen versteckt, der Rhythmus wechselt alle 5 Sekunden, zudem wird das Ganze ungeheuer exakt gespielt. Trotz all dieser theoretischen Vorzüge bleibt die Musik nie bei einem langweilig-gekünstelten Jazz-Core-Crossover stehen, sondern wirkt immer sehr frisch, originell und eingängig. Kult.
