DSI label compilation; these guys took care of the “other side” of DC hardcore which was a bit overshadowed by the Dischord dominance. All bands play good, melodic, catchy and diverse hardcore punk; there are traces of the “new DC sound”, but in general these bands (except Shudder to Think) have a more traditional hardcore approach. Great EP. [8]  

5 Bands mit dem Sound, den es in DC eigentlich schon immer gab, der aber wegen der “Allmächtigkeit” von Dischord oft vergessen wird: extrem guter und eingängiger Punk/Hardcore, nicht vom derbsten, aber niemals lasch; keine extremen Sounds, dafür viel Melodie und abwechslungsreicher Beat - Toll.
