When Operation Ivy's first EP appeared in 1988, this combination of fun punk, speedcore and ska was truly new and original. Then hundreds of bad clones appeared, and soon the whole ska punk scene turned into a bad joke; but the beginnings still sound fresh & original. Great EP. [8]
