How do you cover a double LP onto a single LP? The Parasites elegantly solved the problem by covering the Japanese 20-track version of the seminal Ramones live album. I still don’t get why bands have to cover complete Ramones LPs, but if it has to be done, this is a cool way to do it. The only annoying thing is the constant audience noise that has been mixed in. Das Problem, die legendäre Ramones-Doppel-LP auf einer LP zu covern, haben die Parasites elegant gelöst: Sie haben einfach die japanische Version als Vorlage genommen, denn die hat nur 20 Tracks und paßt auf eine LP. Ganz nette Sache, obwohl der tiefere Sinn dieser Cover-LPs nicht unbedingt klar ist, naja, die Tracks hört man doch immer wieder gerne, egal, wer sie spielt. Etwas nervig ist der konstante zugemischte Publikumslärm, ansonsten interessant für Ramones-Fans und alle, die es werden wollen.
