Piebald sound a lot noisier and tougher than on their later releases; this is definitely more screamo than emo, and a lot better than their 7” on Hydrahead. SPS play more conventional hardcore, OK but kind of uninspired; and the mediocre cover version of Manic Monday is less than impressive, too. [6]

Splitsingle mit dem ersten Lebenszeichen von Piebald; hier noch deutlich krachiger und härter als auf ihren späteren Platten. Geht eher in Richtung Screamo und gefällt mir in jedem Fall besser als ihre Single auf Hydrahead. SPS sehen dagegen ziemlich blass aus, uninspirierter Hardcore, und die dröge Coverversion von Manic Monday hätten sie sich auch sparen können.
