No polka here, the band from Toronto plays artsy indie/wave stuff. It's a little more than the usual amateurish synth/sax crap, though, and has a more serious avantgarde edge (a road that some band members continued on in subsequent projects), it's definitely no easy listening music. There is a tiny punk edge here and there, but I'd rather file this under experimental wave. [6]

Polka findet man auf dieser ersten EP der Band aus Toronto nicht, dafür Wave und Artpunk. Hat ein bisschen mehr Substanz als der übliche Waveschrott mit Synthi und Saxophon, der Band scheint es mit ihren Avantgarde-Ambitionen etwas ernster gewesen zu sein. Einige Stücke sind ganz interessant, aber es ist definitiv keine Easy-Listening-Platte, und der Punkanteil ist auch nicht sonderlich hoch.
