recess. #12 / 16 tracks / 1995
Two half-covers, one for each band. There seem to be different cover variations, my Propagandhi cover is white with green ink, but I have also seen tan with brown ink.
Propagandhi play fast, witty, melodic punk rock like on their LPs - poppy, but not of the brainless kind. It's rare that political bands have a sense of melodies and a sense of humor, but Propagandhi have both and it enhances their reach a lot. I Spy have a very similar style (musically and politically); after their breakup Todd Kowalski went on to play bass in Propagandhi. [7]
Gute Platte.
