Psycho's first LP has similar problems as the previous 7”; it's fast, it's rough, it's hardcore, but it's just too simple and primitive. Imagine the first MDC LP, but all interesting parts taken out, with a poorer production and some metal leads, then you're halfway there. This louder - tougher - faster approach might have worked in the early 80s when everybody was doing it, but in 1986 it was definitely outdated, and indeed it sounds a bit forced and tired. [6]

Auf ihrer ersten LP kämpfen Psycho mit den gleichen Problemen wie auf der 6-Song 7”; schnell und brutal, aber viel zu einfach und primitiv. Wenn man sich die erste MDC-LP vorstellt, alle interessanten Elemente löscht, die Produktion zwei Qualitätsstufen runterfährt und ein paar Metal-Leads dazuwirft, kommt man der Sache recht nahe. Hat schon etwas rohe Energie, aber der größte Teil der LP ist einfach nur langweilig und ermüdend.
