A post mortem release of a 1986 demo by this DC “Revolution Summer” band. This still has a lot of the rough and melodic mid-80s Dischord charme à la Dag Nasty, Three or Rites of Spring. Great original and melodic emo core, tons of hits; not to be missed if you like this kind of music. [9]  

Nach üblicher DC-Manier erscheint diese langerwartete Platte erst Jahre nach der Aufnahme… aber das Warten hat sich gelohnt; ein Klassiker am ohnehin schon überfüllten DC-Star-Himmel. Rain sind viel rauher und hardcoriger als die meisten der neuen DC-Bands, man fühlt sich an die Dischord­phase Mitte der 80er erinnert, etwa die erste Dag-Nasty-LP. Trotzdem ist die Musik nicht einfach oder banal, alle Songs sind genial strukturiert, und die Melo­dien sind echte Ohrwürmer. Power, Melodien, Atmosphäre, gute Texte… was will man mehr.
