A “Best Of” collection with tracks from their records up to Halfway to Sanity; it's a decent selection with most of the songs you'd expect, but a lot of the tracks have been remixed to a somewhat softer, slicker sound. The effect isn't that drastic, but especially the early tracks sound kind of weak and flat that way. That this of all Ramones records was the only one to ever receive even a gold award (for 500.000 sold copies) is another sign of the sorry state of musical taste in this society (as if we needed another one…). Do yourself a favor and get the originals instead, or at least one of the better collections out there. [5]
(KS)
