I guess even the biggest Ramones fans can agree that this is their worst LP. There are a few faster, melodic songs in the vein of their classics, and Psychotherapy is a hit, but most of this is too slow & uninspired, and some of the songs are dangerously close to pseudo hard rock à la Joan Jett. All in all, this is still OK, but… [6]  

Tiefpunkt erreicht, selbst die Coverversionen sind nicht gut. Über ein “bemüht”-Prädikat reicht es jedenfalls nicht hinaus. (KS) Einige ordentliche, aber uninspirierte Punksongs im alten Ramones-Stil (Psychotherapy ist sogar ein kleiner Hit), aber die meisten Songs sind langsamer und langweiliger, und hier und da klingt das sogar nach peinlichem 80er-Pseudo-Hardrock à la Joan Jett. Ihre schlechteste LP. (bj)
