First 12” by Steve Albini's post-Big Black project. The style is very similar to his old band, just a bit calmer and more controlled. All four tracks are recorded live; Budd has a calm intro & outro and gets a bit louder in the middle. The other three tracks are noisier and more aggressive, in the style of the Two Nuns LP. Good EP. [8]  

Vier Livetracks des ex-Big-Black-Projektes; Budd hat ein vergleichsweise ruhiges Intro & Outro und einen lauteren Mittelteil - erinnert etwas an die späteren Shellac-Sachen. Die drei Tracks der B-Seite sind aggressiver und krachiger, also im Stil der LP. Gut.
