posh boy records. pbs 1010 / 6 tracks / 1981
Original version with red labels, issued in generic pink/yellow Posh Boy hole sleeve. Reissued as Annette’s Got the Hits 12” with picture cover in ’86 or so. Reissued circa 1989 with silver labels, additional scratching in the inner grooves and yet another cover design (plain red with white band logo); this one names Posh Boy’s original distributor (Sounds Good) on the back cover, so this might be the original cover design which wasn’t used for the original pressing. This record is sometimes listed as “6 Teen Punk Anthems”; the reason for this is a sticker with that message that was on some of the first press sleeves.
A reissue of the six songs from The Siren compilation. Six snotty teen punk hits, noisy but still with the melodic Posh Boy feeling; sounds like an angry gang of 12-year old surfers. Cool stuff. [8]
Cool.
