Their first LP, with a note on the cover saying “File under Power Trash” - and that is spot on. Fast & hectic trash punk/rock with cool melodies, a lot rougher and faster than their subsequent releases, but already with rock, blues and folk elements. A classic. (TB) [8]  

Peng! ’file under power trash’ steht auf dem Cover, und das stimmt zu 100%! Das Quartett aus Minneapolis spielte ’81 noch Trash (ohne ’h’) der härteren Sorte, sprich eine Mischung aus Punk-, Blues- und Rockelementen. Bei manchen langsameren Tracks deutet sich schon die spätere Entwicklung in Richtung Pop / Folkrock an, aber die Mehrzahl ist schnell und hektisch, mit ei­ner fantastischen Sologitarre und Melodien, die sofort hängenblei­ben. Über das, was sie heute machen, kann man denken, was man will, diese Platte ist jedenfalls Pflicht. (TB)
