HC/metal crossover from NY, reminds me of the more recent DRI stuff, but RIP are even closer to rock/metal. This is powerful, well-played stuff, but by 1990 this genre had been played to death already, and RIP certainly don't have anything new to add to the old formula. Even the Pushead sleeve is not too interesting. [5]  

Großstadtmusik für die 90er wollen Rest in Pieces auf ihrer neuen LP machen, leider ist das, was sie zum Besten geben, nicht sonderlich originell, hat man alles schon oft gehört. Der Crossover-Sound erinnert an DRI auf ihren späteren Platten, wobei RIP noch etwas näher beim Rock/Metal sind. Keine schlechte Platte, spielerisch ist die Musik durchaus in Ordnung, auch die Power stimmt, aber etwas Neues ist das nun wirklich nicht; auch Pushead hat schon bessere Cover gemacht. Knapp über dem Durchschnitt.
