F: bacteria sour. sour 2/3 / 6 tracks / 1994

Records have the matrix no.s “pus 007-05” and “pus 007-06”. #1 - Regular press, 5000 made, gatefold sleeve, French pressing only. #2 - Test pressing, 10(?) made, has one different RFTC track, “Glazed” instead of “On Living…”. This is the same recording like on the Circa Now CD, but a shorter version. The writing in the inner grooves is in the same style on side A and B; the regular issue has a different handwriting on the B side matrix numbers, so this probably was a first/rejected test pressing. No sleeve issued, plain white labels. Some copies were sold together with a Pushead statue.

Only one unreleased song by RFTC (On Living and Dying, Pressure’s On is also on the All Systems Go CD), still great as usual. Bloodthirsty Butchers from Japan play driving powerful melodic punk not unlike their mates on this EP. Good music, great packaging, too bad 1/3 has been released before. [8]  

Split-7” der US/Japan-Connection auf Pusheads neuem Label. Von RFTC gibt es nichts viel Neues: Auf der A-Seite zum wiederholten Male Cut It Loose, auf der B-Seite Pressure’s On, das man von der All Systems Go CD kennt. Dazu On Living and Dying, der einzige neue Track - kräftiger & melodischer Stoff in gewohnter RFTC-Manier. Die Bloodthirsty Butchers aus Japan zeigen, daß der RFTC-Sound auch dort schon Nachahmer gefunden hat: melodischer, treibender, kraftvoller Punk, klasse. Schön aufgemachte Doppelsingle mit guter Musik, schade nur, daß schon 1/3 davon bekannt ist.
