A strange pairing; RFTC team up with a mexican folk music quartet; completely with acoustic guitars and accordeon (and sombreros…). Funny. The RFTC side is also quite traditional; their well-known flavor of RnR punk, but a lot noisier than on their more recent LPs (RFTC and Scream…). [7]

Ups, was ist denn hier passiert? Ein seltsames Paar; RFTC mit einer mexikanischen Volksmusik-Kapelle, letztere so, wie man sich das vorstellt, mit Akustikgitarre, Sänger und Akkordeon. Ganz lustig. RFTC bleiben auf ihrer Seite ihrem Stil treu; lärmender RnR-Punk, deutlich krachiger als ihre übrigen neueren Sachen. Daß es nicht ganz ohne Melodien abgeht, versteht sich von selbst, ansonsten wird das allen gefallen, denen die Band in den letzten Jahren etwas zu soft geworden ist. Mal was anderes.
