+ info fanzine (Flipside 21) with first/early pressing. Punk tracks from volume 1 and 2 were reissued on the (unauthorized) UK comp LP “Blood on the ROQ”.

Classic LA punk comp, loads of great melodic punk and early hardcore, some unreleased, some not. Worth getting for the Brooke Shields intro and the exclusive Simpletones track. There are two or three wave songs, too, but it's not that bad. [9]  

Ein echter Klassiker, die Creme de la Creme des 80er-LA-Punks mit ihren besten Songs. Einige Songs sind auch anderweitig ver­öffentlicht, aber allein der unveröffentlichte Track von den Sim­pletones und das Brooke-Shields(!)-Intro machen die Platte zu einem Pflichtteil. Durchweg guter, fetziger, melodischer LA-Punk (und 2 oder 3 ’New-Wave’-Tracks, die aber nicht weiter stören); fast nur Hits. Tolle Zusammenstellung.
