This is a difficult album; it's not as straight or catchy as the earlier stuff, and the rock/blues influence has gotten stronger; music and lyrics are more on the introspective or even meditative side. Definitely not a bad record, but fans of the old Rollins/Black Flag sound might be a bit disappointed. (TB) [7]  

Schwierige Platte. Nicht mehr so eingängig wie frühere Werke, der Blueseinfluß, der schon immer spürbar war, hat sich noch ver­stärkt (ohne daß man von echter Bluesmusik sprechen könnte), gleichzeitig klingen die Songs bei aller Härte meditativ und nach­denklich. Nicht übel, man sollte aber vor dem Kauf reinhören. (TB)
