Guitarist Buzz Clic is the brother of The Lewd's Bob Clic (who joined the band for their 2001 reunion).

1980: Punk was the big thing and major labels were looking for bands to cash in on. Capitol chose Rubber City Rebels; thank god they left no trace. Fake and polished music with no soul. Three cover versions. [4] (AT). Their major label debut. Polished melodic punk with lots of rock influence. Certainly no highlight of punk history, still it’s not that bad.
