Pressings: #1 - 3 test pressings on black. Unknown number of black vinyl copies. Also on cassette. #2 - 500 copies on orange vinyl. Both US pressings have a pressing flaw which causes most record players to skip during the first track. A lyric sheet comes with pressings #1 and #2. #3 - Plan 9 logo without address on sleeve, bar code added. #4 - UK pressing. Two different CD pressings: #1 - Dull paper booklet, in longbox. #2 - Glossy paper booklet, regular jewel box.

On the final regular Samhain release (not counting the subsequent collections) Glenn Danzig finally got the mix right, and the music is a bit faster than on Unholy Passion. The rock influence has gotten stronger, but not like on the first Danzig album - the music is still closer to the Misfits. Except for the fact that some of the tracks are still too slow, this is another good album that even has a few hits. [8]  

Besserer Sound, es geht auch wieder etwas flotter zur Sache als auf der 12”; trotzdem wirken manche Tracks etwas klebrig und künstlich langsam gehalten. Insgesamt ist diese zweite Samhain-LP etwas rockiger, was durchaus nicht stört. Ein paar richtige kleine Hits sind auch dabei. Gute Platte.
