#1 - Cover of first pressing (3500 made) printed on heavy cardboard stock, brown labels. + lyric sheet. #2 - UK pressing, looks just like the US pressing (except for the thinner cover), but has “UK” scratched into the inner grooves. #3 - 3rd pressing made in France.

On their debut release Scream play the typical early Dischord/DCHC sound à la Minor Threat, Faith etc. In contrast of their later, more sophisticated style this is just fast early hardcore, but it definitely has lots of direct power. Whether you consider this or the next LP their best record is just a matter of taste. [8]

Auf ihrer ersten LP geben sich Scream noch sehr ursprünglich und derbe; eben der typische frühe Dischord-Sound a la Minor Threat, Faith etc. Vielleicht nicht so ausgereift wie die späteren Sachen, aber dafür voll urwüchsiger Power; eine geschichtsträchtige Platte… Gut!
