A lot catchier and more melodic than their debut, diverse, intelligent and original hardcore. Some songs remind me of “The Crew”-era 7 Seconds, especially on the A side that was produced by Dr Know of the Bad Brains. Surprisingly it's the more rocking, Zientara-produced B side that sounds a bit like the Bad Brains. Great record. [8]  

Schon erheblich poppiger und eingängiger als das Debut; an vielen Stellen (vor allem auf der A-Seite, die übrigens von Bad Brain Dr. Know produziert wurde) fühlt man sich sehr an die 7 Seconds zu ’The Crew’-Zeiten erinnert, melodiöse HC-Hits, die helle Stimme des Sängers… allerdings sind die Scream-Songs musikalisch doch sehr viel ausgereifter und gehen weit über die 1-2-3-4-Masche hinaus, man läßt viele neue Stilrichtungen einfließen. Die Tracks der B-Seite (prod. von Don Zientara) sind etwas rockiger und erinnern zuweilen an die Bad Brains. Außergewöhnliche und sehr gute Platte.
