First LP by Jeff Turner's (ex-Three) new band. Musically this isn’t too far away from his old band, although it's closer to rock/folk than to hardcore. I could live with that if he sang himself, but David Levine is the lead singer on all but one track, and he’s just terribly boring and expression-less. The one song with Jeff singing is a highlight, the rest is, well, forgettable. [6]  

Erste LP der neuen Band um Jeff Turner von Three. Musikalisch erinnert das Ganze entfernt an seine alte Band, der Rock- und Folkeinfluß ist aber deutlich größer. All das wäre durchaus verschmerzbar, wenn er selbst singen würde; statt dessen aber tut das ein gewisser David Levine, der ganz einfach ein mieser Sänger ist - ausdruckslos und langweilig. Der einzige Song mit Jeff am Mikro ist dann auch mit Leichtigkeit der beste auf dieser LP; den Rest kann man eigentlich vergessen.
