A lot better than the debut LP, Jeff Nelson (ex-Three etc.) handled more songwriting and vocals duties on this album, and it makes a big difference. Some of the tracks are really good - emotional, melodic and catchy DC hardcore (Grey Eyed Athena is an incredible song!); the tracks with the other vocalist singing are worse, but still OK. Highly recommended if you like “3”-style Dischord stuff. [8]  

Gefällt mir 100.000 mal besser als die erste LP. Jeff Nelson teilt sich das Songwriting und den Gesang jetzt mit David Levine; dementsprechend genial sind auch die 5 Tracks, bei denen er auch noch singt, da sieht man seine alte Kultband ’3’ förmlich aus dem Grab emporsteigen - fantastischer melancholischer, emotioneller und melodisch kompakter DC-Hardcore; diese Songs hätten auch ohne weiteres auf Dischord erscheinen können. An Grey Eyed Athena, einem Song, den Jeff alleine geschrieben hat, sieht man, was aus dieser Band werden könnte, wenn man den guten Mann noch mehr zum Zuge kommen ließe… Der andere Sänger ist leider längst nicht so stark im Ausdruck, aber auch diese Tracks sind weit über Durchschnitt. Sehr schöne, etwas ruhigere Platte.
