Announced for ages as “Strings of a Toy”, but then renamed. Two versions, both have the same foil printed wraparound cover. #1 - “Superfest Version” only available at Superfest 20 in Tokyo with a special numbered card, on Jan 8 2001. 249 made, records on banana yellow and white vinyl (the blue or cream vinyl versions mentioned on the insert sheet were never pressed). + numbered envelope with Superfest flyer and numbered Superfest postcard with Pushead art, clear foil art print with Burial sleeve art in black and silver ink, same print on paper, paper print with the full artwork of the Crossed Out Twice CD in black and silver ink (CD sleeve is just an excerpt) (signed and numbered by Pushead), 10”x15” poster with Pushead art, track listing card with Pushead art on reverse side, track listing insert for the 2^nd record with Superfestival 20 stamp. It seems like there are variations in the paper/foil combinations of the art prints. #2 - “US Version” for Pusfan fan club members by special invitation/pre-order. 163 made, records on dark red and orange vinyl. + numbered info sheet with name of buyer, two sheets with track listing and recording info, vellum art print with Burial sleeve art in black and silver ink (signed and numbered by Pushead), paper print with full artwork of the Crossed Out Twice CD in black and silver ink (signed and numbered by Pushead). The numbering of both pressings is a bit confusing; e.g. 01/71 of the Superfest version does not mean ”#1 of 71 copies” but #171 of all 249 copies pressed.

Double 10”; 3 sides have selected tracks off the Crossed Out Twice CD, which was a combination of the Theme from Ozobozo and Attention CDs, the latter being a collection of tracks including the Now that I have the Attention LP - the reissue of the Need so much Attention 12”. Versions are unchanged from these earlier versions as far as I can tell. The entire side 3 (except for the last song) is a live set recorded Aug 28 1983 in Boise, ID. Sound quality is very clear, noisy and powerful, but also kind of blurry. The beautiful packaging and the live tracks make this an essential record for fans and collectors, all others can live with what they already have. [9]

Da es keine neuen Septic-Tracks mehr geben kann, müssen eben die alten in immer neuen Konfigurationen veröffentlicht werden. Hier sind es Songs von der Crossed Out Twice CD bzw. der Attention CD und der Ozobozo CD; dazu gibt es (fast) eine ganze Seite Livematerial von 1983, das vom Sound her sehr klar und kraftvoll ist; allerdings kommt diese Musik live doch ein bisschen chaotisch. Dass es sich hier eben doch nicht um einen hirnlosen Ripoff mit Xerox-Cover à la Mystic handelt, wird auch vom wunderschönen Packaging noch mal eindrucksvoll unterstrichen. Das Ganze ist doch eher ein kleines Kunstwerk als eine Hardcore-Platte… alle nicht-Sammler und nicht-Superfans können sich aber entspannt zurücklehnen.
