Unusually solid major label “New Wave” compilation; mostly wave rock, but not bad; also some nice punk tracks by the Alleycats, The Know (great and melodic!) and the Suburban Lawns (a little weirder). [7]  

Einer der unzähligen ’New Wave’-Sampler, die meisten Tracks sind ordentlicher New-Wave-Rock, wie er damals auch aus England kam, nix besonderes. Punkiger gehts bei den Alleycats (Sound wie auf der 7”), The Know (toller melodischer Pop-Punksong) und Suburban Lawns (schräger Punk, gut) zu. Insgesamt ein für die Industrie überdurchschnittlicher Sampler.
