Recorded by Don Zientara. #1 - Dacoit press with plain white sleeve plus two black & white cover sheets in a plastic bag, white labels, 2 insert sheets with infos about the record. 100 made, hand numbered on the inner sleeve and stamped on the record. Some copies are autographed, too. #2 - Limp pressing has red printing on white sleeve (same design, though), alternate yellow labels, 300 made, numbered on the front sleeve. Same pressing tool used, additional matrix numbers (NR 11669). There are test pressings, too, at least for the Limp version, with hand written labels/cover. #3 - Both bootlegs have a bonus track (“Long Way to go”); 1981 boot has the original b&w cover design, the boot LP on 66 Records has new sleeve art and is called “Los Angeles And Vicinity Vol.2”, red vinyl, 300 made.

Their debut LP, with Martha Hull singing, and in a similar style as the Hot & Cool EP. Many different influences ranging from Punk and New Wave to 60s Rock and Surf. I like their other records better because the punk influence is stronger, still this is a good album. [7]  

Die erste Platte der Slickee Boys aus Washington DC, als Original nur in Miniauflage erschienen. Ist allerdings keine echte Punkplatte, dafür sind die Einflüsse zu verschieden: Punk, New Wave, 60’s, Surf Sound etc. Sehr vielseitige Musik, die auch schon einige Einflüsse in der Punkszene der späteren Jahre andeutet. Insgesamt eine abwechslungsreiche und originelle LP, die auch ein paar kleine Hits zu bieten hat (Just Blow Away); die späteren Platten gefallen mir aber besser.
