Produced by Robbie Fields. #1 - Cover on heavier, semi-glossy paper; silver labels, small inner hole. #2 - Repress circa 1988; large inner hole, (slightly) different labels, heavy paper cover like the original. #3 - 1990 repress for Posh Boy Singles Box, thin paper sleeve, small inner hole, silver labels. About 10.000 copies pressed altogether.

Their first record, rougher and simpler than the subsequent releases. Playpen is one of Social Dee’s weaker songs, not too interesting. Mainliner is a lot better, simple & melodic LA punk with a tight Posh Boy production. [7]  

Na ja, vielleicht hatten die Jungs hier ihren schlechten Tag, Playpen finde ich im Vergleich zu den übrigen Social-Dee-Sachen ziemlich schlapp; Mainliner ist zwar zwar entschieden besser / flotter, aber trotzdem etwas einfach gestrickt. Trotz allem eine typische Posh-Boy-Platte (der Robbie-Fields-Mix macht’s…).
