LA punk’s mega stars and newcomers share this record; mostly melodic punk rock / hardcore. While the big bands like Social Dee or the Adolescents have great tracks, you can tell that some of the newbies are still struggling to find their sound. Overall, though, a great compilation. [7]  

Hochkarätig besetzter Sampler aus einer Zeit des Umbruchs, einerseits die alten/etablierten Bands, andererseits die “Newcomer” der L.A.-Scene. Beide bringen ordentlichen und meist melodiösen Punk; man merkt allerdings recht deutlich, daß die (damaligen) Neulinge gegen die “Punk-Superstars” noch einen recht schweren Stand haben. Trotz allem eine gute Platte.
