It’s a telling sign if a mid-80s DC hardcore compilation doesn’t have any of the better known bands of that era (Asbestos Rockpyle and Madhouse had other releases, but are still quite obscure). This is a typically trashy Mystic release, demo tapes from the garbage dump, ultra garage-y hardcore with the matching Mystic “production”. I like the Madhouse (pre-Strange Boutique) track best, and there are some other songs with an interesting/experimental edge; most of this is boring and generic hardcore crap, though. [6]

Ein weiteres Produkt aus Doug Moody’s Mülleimer. Unter allen DC-Bands hat er sich die ausgesucht, die garantiert keiner kennt (bis auf Asbestos Rockpyle und Madhouse (später Strange Boutique)). Die Musik ist entsprechend kellermäßig, der Sound unter aller Kanone. Gut die Hälfte der Tracks kann man komplett vergessen, unter den anderen finden sich ein paar recht interessante Songs. Ultrakrachiger HC und schräge Experimente, na ja, für Mystic-Sammler.
