A strange Slapshot side project feat. Jack Kelly (= Choke) and J.W. (= Jordan Wood) of Slapshot on vocals and guitar. Patriotic guts’n’glory Oi hardcore punk, a blend of early UK skin punk and powerful Boston hardcore. The lyrics are drastic in a similar way as Slapshot’s, only they’re not about smoking and drinking, but about patriotism and skinhead glory. I don’t know, it’s kind of weird. [6]  

Ziemlich seltsames Teil, Choke von Slapshot und ein paar Kumpels von ihm mimen hier incognito die Ultra-Skins. Die Musik ist ein Gemisch aus frühem englischen Oi-Punk und dem kraftvollen Boston/Slapshot-Sound, der melodische Sound gepaart mit dem brutalen HC kommt gar nicht schlecht; Texte sind allerdings ähnlich derbe wie die Slapshot-Sachen, nur, daß es hier eben nicht um Straight Edge etc. geht, sondern um Skinhead Glory, Amerika, Patriotismus und ähnliches. Insgesamt wirkt dieses Teil auf mich reichlich unglaubwürdig und aufgesetzt.
