Feat. Monica (ex-Hate from Ignorance), Daniel (ex-Untouchables, Youth Brigade DC), FE Smith (ex-Beefeater). 1000 made on grey vinyl, hand numbered. 25 test pressings.

Similar to the 12”, sad and melancholic DC stuff with a UK post punk edge, on the edge to wave rock/pop. A side is a Magazine cover version, B side is an original tune. This still has a hardcore background, though, and there is a lot of the magic “new DC” touch, too. Good record. [8]  

Wie schon Manifesto kein “echter” Hardcore mehr, geht schon eher in die Richtung des 80er-UK-Post-Punks; der typische DC-Sound fehlt aber natürlich trotzdem nicht und macht aus dem Ganzen mehr als nur einen antiquierten Aufguß. Melancholische Grundstimmung, rhythmische Drums, schwebende Gitarren… dazu paßt dann auch hervorragend die Magazine-Coverversion auf der A-Seite. Auf der B-Seite gibt’s dann noch einen schönen eigenen Track, traurig und atmosphärisch. Schöne Platte, wenn man’s nicht immer ultraderb braucht.
