sub pop. sp 10 / 13 tracks / jul 1986
5000 made. + info sheet. I think there is a CD reissue.
After releasing fanzines and tape compilations, this was Sub Pop's first vinyl release. The musical range is wider than their 90s grunge stuff, and there are some interesting tracks by stars of the post-hardcore and indie rock scene, most in the Butthole Surfers/Sonic Youth vein. Most notable for collectors are probably the nice unreleased Wipers track, the very first Naked Raygun song (surf!) and a cassette-only song by Shonen Knife. Good & diverse. [7]
