From Vancouver comes one of the best punk records ever (hardcore was yet to come) - catchy and full of ideas. Great music and great look too: all of them appear refreshingly normal, lacking the stereotype “punk” image. Years later the singer Wimpy Roy joined DOA on bass. Songs recorded between 1978 and 1980. (AT) Very similar to their previous releases; great rough and melodic punk. Only two songs have some rock influence in the DOA vein. (bj) [9]

Eine der besten Punk-LPs überhaupt, aus der Kanada-Szene der Prä-Hardcore-Ära (aufgenommen zwischen 78 und 80). Tolle, eingängige und ideenreiche Musik. (AT) Die LP unterscheidet sich im Sound kaum von den vorigen Platten. Astreiner Kanada-Punk, rauh und melodisch. Fast alle Songs sind flotte Punk-Hymnen, nur zwei Tracks haben einen etwas rockigeren Einschlag. Noch ein Klassiker. (bj)
