West coast compilation; most of the bands play the early flavor of simple hardcore, with notable exceptions being Redd Kross (witty melodic HC) and Youth Gone Mad (three mini punk hits with nice vocals & noisy melodic guitars). OK if you're into the rather generic kind of old school hardcore. [6]

Eigentlich durchweg einfacher West-Coast-Früh-HC; bis auf Redd Kross (ganz witziger, flotter HC mit Melodie) und Youth Gone Mad (3 Beinahe-Hits, cooler, mehrstimmiger Gesang und krachige, aber melodische Gitarre) ist eigentlich kaum eine Band besonders gut oder schlecht; der zu dieser Zeit übliche 1-2-3-4-HC eben, eigentlich nichts anderes als etwas schneller gespielter, einfacher California-Punk. Nicht übel, wenn man diesen Sound ab kann.
