Both bands cover each other’s song “Static”. Tar are great like ever, intense and gloomy Chicago hardcore. Jawbox have some trouble covering Tar’s uni­que sound in their DC hardcore style, still OK. Good record. [7]

Ganz nette Idee: beide Bands covern den Song “Static” der anderen Band. Tar sind wieder mal hinreißend, intensiver und atmosphärischer Chicago-Hard­core. Jawbox haben gewisse Probleme, den genialen Tar-Sound zu covern, paßt nicht so ganz zu ihrem DC-Sound. Insgesamt eine gute Platte.
