The same sound again - no development compared to the previous releases, they haven't moved an inch in the past two years. What sounded great and innovative on their Roundhouse LP slowly turned into a tiring repetition. Gloomy Chicago noise/grunge/core, it’s getting old. [6]

Die x-te Veröffentlichung von Tar in letzter Zeit, und wieder hat sich rein gar nix getan, die Band steht wie festgenagelt auf der gleichen Stelle wie vor zwei Jahren. Düsterer, schwerer Chicago-Noise-Grunge-Core, der durch die ewige Wiederholung aber sehr an Glaubwürdigkeit verliert. Tar waren mal eine meiner Lieblingsbands, aber das ist nur noch ein Abklatsch.
