More great punk from this previously overlooked band from NYC. As the title suggests, these are 1979 recordings; the sound quality is a bit rough (sounds like practice room demos, or a live in the studio recording), but the music is top notch. Great rocking and aggressive punk rock, angry and brutal like the Dead Boys in their finest moments. If they had secured a major label deal like most of the other NY bands back then, they'd be up there with the classics today. [8]

Weitere ausgegrabene Aufnahmen der NY-Band; so langsam kommen sie zu ihrem Recht. Diese Tapes klingen eher nach Proberaum-Demos oder Live-im-Studio-Aufnahmen, von der Qualität etwas roh und einfach. Die Musik ist aber 1A, wie gehabt - rockiger, aggressiver Punk, wütend und brutal wie die Dead Boys zu besten Zeiten. Wenn sie damals wie alle anderen einen Major-Vertrag bekommen hätten, säßen sie heute mit ihren Zeitgenossen im Punk-Olymp.
