A split 7” from DC that is probably most interesting for Nirvana/Foo Fighters fans: Mission Impossible was Dave Grohl’s first band. Both bands play decent hardcore, Lunch Meat (who later changed their name to Soul Side) are a little calmer, Mission Impossible are a little faster. Nothing spectacularly new (especially considering what else was going on in DC in 1985) but good solid hardcore nonetheless. [7]
Seite 1 mit Lunch Meat (später Soul Side) und etwas ruhigerem, Seite 2 mit Mission Impossible und schnellem HC, der zwar nichts überragend Neues bringt, aber trotzdem recht überzeugend wirkt. Lohnt. Mission Impossible war übrigens die erste Band von Dave Grohl (Nirvana/Foo Fighters).
Tracks: Lunch Meat - looking around / no need / under the glare // Mission Impossible - helpless / into your shell / am i alone?
