D: musical tragedies. mt-093 / 8 tracks / 1989

A side is a strange hybrid of hardcore and speedmetal; when they slow down, there are even some grunge influences. In any case, Jack Endino is not the right producer for their music, and the band sounds kind of tired, too. B side has three cover versions recorded live (85-87) plus one recorded in their basement, sound quality has cheap bootleg level. Not their finest moment. [6]

Etwas seltsames Mittelding zwischen Hardcore und Metal, und da das Tempo hin und wieder auch mal gedrosselt wird, gibt es manchmal sogar ein wenig Grunge-Feeling. Jack Endino ist für diese Band jedenfalls der falsche Produzent, das hat kaum Biss, aber auch die Band klingt hier etwas müde. Auf der B-Seite dann drei Live-Coverversionen von 1985-1987, dazu noch ein Song aus dem Probenkeller, alle mit schrottigem Klang, das hat dann wirklich nur noch billiges Bootleg-Niveau.
