First press with yellow labels, second with blue labels, third with green labels. The band changed their name from “Bangs” to “Bangles” so later copies have a different sleeve that says “The Bangles, formerly The Bangs”.

This already has all the characteristics of their subsequent records, basically 60s guitar pop with great harmonic singing. These two tracks are still a bit rougher than on their first 12”, I also like the songs better. No punk, though. [7]

Selbst auf ihrer allerersten Single auf einem Mini-Label hat die Band im Wesentlichen schon den Stil ihrer späteren Sachen drauf, von Punk kaum eine Spur. Netter 60s-Revival-Gitarrenpop, hier noch etwas rauher als auf den späteren Sachen; die Songs gefallen mir besser als die der ersten 12”. OK.
